Amazing moments: parties

2016 has been a year of growth and achievement here at SFP. We have travelled around the world supporting new and steadfast clients, expanded our team with fresh faces, conquered innovative ways of presenting information, and had a great time accomplishing it all together. Join us over this next month as we explore ten amazing moments of 2016.

Last night we had our annual holiday party complete with incredible food and amazing white elephant gifts. The Storm Trooper was the hit of the exchange; the Helen Keller Christmas ornament didn’t get quite as much love… Our holiday party is always a fun evening where we gather together to celebrate our many accomplishments over the year, but we also try to meet about once a month and relax outside of the office. From happy hours to kick off event season and let loose after surviving event season, welcome lunches for newbies and going away parties for those who have left to pursue other things, we appreciate spending time with each other away from the glow of our computers.

This year we’ve had some great parties. In June, we took the water taxi across the bay and had an afternoon company meeting at Salty’s in West Seattle. We strategized how to move faster and more efficiently to accomplish our company goals and enjoyed a beautiful Seattle summer day on the water. Our annual golfing adventure found us exploring a new putt putt course in our neighborhood and gave us a chance to unwind after a busy September. We carved pumpkins in the conference room in October and found random opportunities for ice cream parties. And when traveling, we always find a night to explore the city and eat delicious local food together.

Enjoying time with your co-workers outside of the office is one of the best things about working for a smaller company. In 2017, we’ll be working to come up with new and unique ways to do just that!
